Rae St, Fitzroy North, was transformed into the remarkable ‘Six Ways House’, conceived by architects Kennedy Nolan.
The name ‘Six Ways House’ derives from the junction in North Fitzroy where the project is situated.
The front exterior adheres precisely to the corner boundaries,
effectively maximising space. The ground floor’s bricks provide privacy and security, while the second floor boasts floor-to-ceiling windows. The north-facing secure courtyard features timber-panelled walls and a beautifully landscaped design commissioned by the owners. The interior features a combination of brick and timber slat walls, complemented by a pallet of deep green, which contribute significantly to the house’s warmth. The upstairs living area, on the other hand, exudes brightness through its floor-to-ceiling windows.
